Happy Second Anniversary (and a couple days)
Two years and 23 days ago I took to the internet to showcase and share my favorite creations through a blog lovingly titled I Hart Cupcakes. Yes, I’m a terrible blogger for being 23 days behind on my own anniversary, but better late than never- right?
Year two for I Hart Cupcakes was once again aaaaamazing! Over the past 365 days I met new clients, participated in some special celebrations and had a blast every step of the way. When I first started off, I was only making cupcakes, but two years later I Hart Cupcake has proudly added Cake Pops, Cakes, Mini Pies and other desserts to the menu!
I Hart Cupcakes was fortunate enough to participate in some fun events this year including birthdays, holidays, baby showers, wedding showers, and bachelorette parties! But the most important of the year was being a part of two wedding! Back in May the Mr. & Mrs. Janke were married at a rustic ranch in Yucaipa, CA. With a gray, white and yellow color scheme, I made 200 cupcakes and wedding cake topped with a bride & groom cupcakes! Then in October Mr. & Mrs. Culp got married surrounded by family and friends on a Saturday afternoon in Orange, CA. The simple and sophisticated backyard reception displayed the 150 cupcakes and white sugar crystal monogram wedding cake. Being a small part of these two wedding was definitely the highlight of the year!
Looking back I can’t help but smile- never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever be doing something like this! I Hart Cupcakes is just a small part of my life but it truly keeps me sane and incredibly happy! With each new job, I get to meet new people, reconnect with old friends or work with my favorite friends & family! I want to send out an enormous THANK YOU to all the people who have read the blog, looked at the pictures, ate the cupcakes/desserts, placed an order, helped with ideas, submitted recipes, followed me on Twitter, or liked me on Facebook! Thank you for making this all possible- your love and support means the world to me!
