I love the 80’s!!! Well, not as much as Phil Sims does! And what would be a better way for the birthday boy to celebrate his 25th birthday then with an 80’s themed party….surprise party that is! His sweet wife, Laura, went all out for this bash! Friends and family rocked out to 80’s classics while surrounded by a house decorated with neon streamers, polka dots, slap bracelets and retro sunglasses. Friends and family donned their favorite 80’s clothing items including leggings, side pony tails and off the shirts!

We played games, enjoyed a great bbq, posed in the photo booth and devoured cupcakes like they were going out of style! Laura and I have an equal obsession for Pinterest.com. Through Pinterest.com, we were able to share ideas and came up with an awesome plan for the party! So, where’s the beef? Wait, I mean cupcakes? Check it out:

I pity the fool that don’t like these cupcakes! What could be more 80’s then Rubik’s cube, cassette tape, Pac-man and Michael Jackson glove? OW! The cupcakes were three different flavors: Chocolate with Nutella frosting, Strawberry with Cream Cheese frosting and Chai with Cinnamon Vanilla cupcakes. Of course the frosting had to be dyed neon colors which really brought the whole 80’s tower together!

Everyone had a blast celebrating Phil’s birthday! Thank you Laura for putting together an excellent party…everything was masterful! Hope you have a stellar birthday and remember- Frankie says RELAX!
